Seems like a good sturdy mirror but have unfortunately taken 1 star for there's a scratch which we noticed only after unboxing. Sadly, as per other reviews, this seems to be like playing the lottery we have decided to keep it as we didn't want the risk of finding a worse scratch in a replacement mirror! The box that it came in was robust so I think this is a manufacturing issue.

I ordered this mirror because the the dresser mirror in my spare bedroom broke, it was such a mess to clean up, I am still nervous to walk in that room without slippers. The mirror was a pain to get out of the packaging, but because it is glass and was transported I expected that. The reflection the mirror provided is crisp, clear, and not distorted, which I had not even thought about until I tried to go shopping for a replacement and saw that many do not provide a nice reflection. The mounting brackets seem like they can more than handle the weight of the mirror and it was nice that the hardware to install was included. The frame and beveled edges will provide protection if it falls (but I am hopeful it won’t) the nice thing about the frame is that it isn’t really visible once the mirror is hung (if that is something you are worried about) it is just under an inch thick so if you are planning on a flush mount mirror this is not the one for you.
