Seemed a great idea for in the shower. Looks great, stuck to the tiled wall with no issues, but unlike a glass mirror, it steams up something awful. No amount of wiping will clear it until I've finished in the shower by which time, it's too late

My GF has been asking for a while if I could put up a mirror in my room positioned so she can see her back in the long mirrors on the wardrobe doors. It's not a big thing to ask but lacking anything sturdy enough to support a large glass mirror it had to be done a different way. This is ideal, I've fixed it to a sheet of ply and made a sandwich board type frame about a metre tall, the whole thing is only about 18mm thick so when it's not in use it just tucks away behind a bookcase, she can position it wherever she wants to so in most respects it's better than a fixed mirror. That's one of the beauties of these very lightweight acrylic mirrors, you can do things with them that while possible with glass would be rather harder because of the weight. Optically this mirror is pretty good, glass mirrors will generally have advantages over acrylic when it comes to flatness and brighter imaging but acrylic these days gives it a good run for its money and for general use there's not much between them if you mount the acrylic mirror properly. Across the board I have to say I'm pleased with this one, it's a good size and fairly thick, some are very thin indeed. My only complaint is the packaging. It arrived in cardboard but inside it's just in a plastic bag with just two paper corner protectors, no real impact protection at all to speak of which probably explains why there's a crack about 10mm down from the top left corner. It gets three stars, losing one point for the lack of proper corner protection and another for only bothering to use two of them. Had they used proper protection it would have been a five star product.
